Donation Options to Support Child Rights

All children should have equal opportunities in order to develop, grow and make use of their full potential to realize their dreams. Every child is entitled to basic rights in terms of their health, education and protection from exploitation and neglect. But sadly, most children do not have access to these basic rights and are suffering from poverty, malnutrition, child labour and other forms of exploitation. These underprivileged children are made to work and fend for their families without any consideration of their dreams, wishes and desires.

Therefore, in order to ensure that this situation decreases, many government organisations known as NGOs have come up with sustainable solutions that work at the grass-root level to bring about a change. These NGOs develop and implement solutions and bring together the government and business class so that the scale of work is strengthened to provide for the underprivileged children.

You, as an individual, can also help by either of the following methods:

Donate online:
This is one of the most convenient methods that helps eradicate inequality and brings about a smile on the face of a child. Simply go online and research about an NGO nearest you. You can then look at the online donation options and help these underprivileged children lead a happier and fulfilling life.

Recurring monthly offline donation:
This is a cost effective technique where you can invest in a child’s future without the usual tedious paperwork. It is only a one time set-up and if you opt for this scheme you will enable monthly recurring donations from your bank account directly into your favourite NGOs account.

Donate by Cheque:
This is one of the simpler ways to give where you are only required to download a donation form of your nearest NGO. Fill the form, attach a suitable cheque for the cause and send it to the concerned NGO.

Corporate matching gifts:
There are many companies that match their employee’s contributions which encourages all employees to donate.

Active participation in programs:
You can actively participate in various tournaments, functions, games such as marathon and much more in order to raise awareness for child rights. This method is one of the most popular methods to bring about awareness and change.
